I WON GOLD! The 'Lorenzo il Magnifico' first prize award for jewellery art and design. What an incredible moment!
Seeing my necklace celebrated as a piece of art in such a competitive space is truly special. Thanks to all who backed me in crowdfunding, along with my self belief and family's support.
This success isn't just mine and I hope it ignites inspiration in others to chase their dreams with courage and determination.

Thank you to all the wonderful, amazing people who supported my crowdfunding campaign. What a success! With your support I managed to raise $20,035 to go towards my Italy project. I am feeling on top of the world. Your belief in me and your support brings me to tears.
Thanks to you, I will pass through the gateway of Fortezza da Basso and enter the XIV Florence Biennale in October this year. It's so excting, I can't wait!

The Florence Biennale, is the major contemporary art and design exhibition in Florence where it is regarded as an outstanding showcase of international contemporary art and design production. The event celebrates and features renowned designers and artists from all over the world who are selected to exhibit their work. It offers a platform for recognition, competition, and celebration of artistic excellence and cultural contributions.
Participating exhibitors have the opportunity to compete for prestigious awards. These awards include the ‘Lorenzo il Magnifico’ International Award for Art and the ‘Leonardo da Vinci Award’ for Design, both conferred by an international jury. In addition to these awards, there are other special accolades that exhibitors can vie for.
The Florence Biennale also presents the 'Lorenzo il Magnifico Lifetime Achievement Award' for Art and the 'Leonardo da Vinci Lifetime Achievement Award' for Design. These prestigious awards honor individuals who have achieved remarkable artistic accomplishments and have made significant cultural contributions. Previous recipients include notable figures like Vivienne Westwood, Ferrari & Pininfarina.

I am thrilled to announce that my latest exquisite contemporary necklace has been accepted for the XIV Florence Biennale 2023, a prestigious contemporary art and design exhibition in Florence, Italy.
My exhibit will feature a beautiful piece of wearable art - a mesmerising and elaborate collar made of yellow gold and white diamonds, exclusively created for the event. "I am proud to have the opportunity to showcase it internationally and compete for the esteemed 'Leonardo da Vinci Design Award' and other special awards."
I am an acclaimed award-winning jewellery artist based in Tasman, New Zealand. I have made a name for myself as a dynamic and innovative force in the world of jewellery design, spending many years with passion and dedication developing new and innovative ways to incorporate originality and brilliance into my artistic practice. I am deeply committed to using my creativity to make a positive impact on the world, and my work has been recognized both nationally and internationally.
Although this is a significant accomplishment I cannot achieve it alone. To participate in this nine-day exhibition, from 14th to 22nd October 2023 at the Fortezza Da Basso in Florence, Italy, I am seeking financial support. Your contribution will help cover the expenses of the exhibition, including travel, accommodation and related costs, and marketing material.
By contributing to my project, you will help make it happen and become a part of my exciting journey, help me develop my artistry and brand, and move my business forward while also assisting me in realising my dream. You are also enabling me to create fearless, bold pieces without financial concern and to focus on my passion for crafting significant unique sculptural jewellery pieces. Furthermore, your contribution will play a critical role in promoting New Zealand's contemporary art and design on an international level.
